Augmenting Astrology

It’s been a journey getting here.

Earlier in life, I embarked on two career paths: one as an epidemiologist in public health researcher and another as a yoga teacher, seeking self-realization.

This third thing, my work as an astrologer, could be described as an evolution of those first two paths. Like two rivers merging on their way to the sea. A lot of the motivation was always the same: to promote and serve a magical, whole, healthy, vibrant and loving world.

The spiritual purpose of this work is to help people know themselves more deeply. So that they may connect to their own essence, power and wisdom. It is aligned with striving for a special type of happiness that the wisdom traditions of ancient Greeks sought and also the soul growth described by the modern teachings of evolutionary astrology as taught by Jeffery Wolf Green.

My passion for astrology extends beyond the 1-on-1 consultation space, into group work and what is called experiential astrology which I do through the Embodied Astrology Lab.

I’m also inspired by the literary realms of myth, story telling and philosophy in astrology, and pen two publications on Substack, The Embodied Astrologer and Know. Thyself.

Although I’ve always been drawn to astrology and have used it to create a variety of immersive experiences for people as far back as 2010, my formal training didn’t begin until a plunge into the evolutionary astrology work of Jeffery Wolf Green in the winter 2023.

Since then, I’ve completed the Jeffery Wolf Green School of Evolutionary Astrology’s Pluto School and started the process of becoming a certified astrological counsellor with the school. I have also studied with contemporary evolutionary astrologers Timothy Halloren and Arie Moshe.

In the winter of 2024 I packed my bags for Greece and Spain and immersed myself in the discovery and study of traditional Hellenistic astrology, while offering experiential astrology workshops with the Embodied Astrology Lab.

At the time of committing to this astrology path, I was also engaged in many other explorations into somatic work, psychotherapy, conscious relationship training, and particularly the relational practice of circling, which is a type of authentic relating. The alchemical result of that melting pot continues to bubble and has led me here to this moment, and more recently the founding of Sphinx Point Academy of Embodied Astrology where I can express my love for teaching and experiential, somatic and relational work, as it relates to astrology.
