The Universe Conspires

This morning I was thinking about one of the most impactful stories I ever read: The Alchemist. About destiny and the journey we all go on towards whatever we want to achieve in this life. The hero’s journey and the transformation that occurs during the pursuit of our conscious desires.

In particular, I was thinking about how that story was about dreams and the stars and intuition and omens and how one of the greatest lessons we learn in life is how the true treasure we seek is with us all along. And how that knowledge is not enough on its own to do anything of significance. How Santiago still had to go on his adventure to learn that lesson. Had to live his life in alignment with nature and destiny.

It is also meaningful to me that his journey took him to the pyramids. The symbolism of it. Because my journeys have also taken me to pyramids. In the past and in the present. In the physical and in the symbolic. In fact the actual shape and structure of my new framework for teaching astrology for example, showed itself to be a pyramid or tetrahedron. I guess really it’s modelled after the Sierpinski Triangle also known as the Tri-Force from Zelda lol.

That however, is an origin story for another time.

What I do want to share right now is how it relates to my present path. If you’ve been reading my posts you’ll know that I’m building a school of astrology, and the process has been so inspiring and full of symbolism that has sewn together so much of my life story over the past 25 years into an incredible fabric. Its connected dots that I would otherwise have seen as separate and by doing so turned isolated star points into constellations, if you’ll allow me the astrological metaphor!

During this process I’ve watched in awe as many of the ancient myths, modern myths, and the mythology of my life and my life’s work have all begun to coalesce. It’s has been nothing short of magnificent to behold.

The symbolic world is pure magic. It is why, in its essence, astrology is perhaps the most powerful language we humans have access to and why it is so alive in our world today. Why after 1000s of years, despite persecution, despite Descartes and the hegemony of scientific dogma, it continues to not only influence humanity in a myriad of ways and persist as one of the oldest most cherished professions, but to thrive now in a way the world has never seen. But it’s tricky of course, to wade through the conflicting information, traditions and obfuscating role that pop astrology has played and to know how to best orient yourself to this sacred knowledge. This in particular, has been my main focus of late and what has driven me to start the Academy and the Know Thyself Course Series that I’m launching this spring.

It feels good to be walking this path and equally so for the opportunity to teach others how to connect with it in a way that can’t help but be transformative and by it’s very nature bring people closer to the truth of themselves and the truth within themselves.

For those who are interested in knowing more I invite you to my first webclass on Thursday March 13th. In this free webinar, I’ll be sharing the teaching framework used at Sphinx Point Academy and pitching what I think is a great astrology learning opportunity, especially for those with a limited budget.

Here’s a link to the course for those who want to take advantage of the crazy deal (that I’m only offering my network) right now.
